Welcome, I’m Tim Justin, thanks for giving me a look!
Becoming a landscape designer isn’t an accident — it’s a deliberate journey. For me, it began with a lifetime of creative curiosity: drawing, studying form and color, and always chasing new ways to shape outdoor spaces. But being creative alone doesn’t make someone a professional designer.
Real landscape design combines art with science. It takes formal training, focused study, and hands‑on practice to understand plants, soils, and the systems that make a garden thrive. That blend of education and artistry is what lets a designer create spaces that are beautiful, functional, and lasting.
Too often homeowners try to “save” by hiring unqualified help. Anyone with a shovel can plant a few shrubs, but that doesn’t replace the planning, plant knowledge, and technical skill a trained designer brings — just like taking a pill doesn’t make you a doctor.
I hold a degree in horticultural science and certifications in landscape design, and I stay current through seminars and industry trade shows. That ongoing commitment to learning is how I turn creative vision into outdoor spaces that add beauty, value, and real performance to your property.
